One of several airstrips inside Tsavo east national park, located near Voi gate. It mostly supports small regional planes and has facilities such as toilets and an airport lounge.

What to do there?Get a flight out of or into the park, with payments and permits available at the gate near by. Or board a flight for that magical air safari - though booking may have to be done elsewhere.

Best time to visit?The dry season, which normally is between the months of July to February every year.

Location of Voi airstripThe airstrip is located right next to Voi gate and the KWS headquarters for the park. It also sits near the southern border of Tsavo east national park.

How to get there?By air or road, with flights available from a multitude of airports inside the country, the largest of which are at Mombasa and Nairobi.

It is also about a 10 minute drive from the town of Voi, which is accessible via public transport, both train and bus.
