A picnic site near the western shores of lake Nakuru, offering panoramic views of it and the surrounding woodlands.

Like its name suggest, it sits high on the edge of a cliff — above the rest of the park with baboons being a common sight.

It has toilets, a resting shed, picnic benches and a parking area.

What to do thereView lake Nakuru, the flock of birds on it and the surrounding park from a higher vantage point.

Also game viewing and game drives in the nearby areas, bird watching, hiking, picnics.

Location of Baboon cliff picnic siteBaboon cliff picnic site is on the northwestern end of lake Nakuru national park.

How to get there?By air or vehicle — a few minutes drive south of the main gate, with the last bit being fairly steep.

Naishi airstrip is a lot further south of here, though you still may need a vehicle to traverse the park.
