One of three picnic sites that are located inside lake Manyara national park and on the lake's north western shores. A small clearing amidst the woodland where visitors can alight from their vehicles to have a bush meal, a picnic or just to stretch their legs.

What to do there?Have a picnic, bush meal, or lunch at lake Manyara's shores, while taking in the amazing scenery which may at times include flamingos. Or have night game drives.

Location of Endalla picnic siteEndalla picnic site is located on the north western shores of lake Manyara, about a 30 minutes drive south of the park's northern gate. There are two sites in this location, with the next being a short distance south of here.

Accommodation options in the area include public campsites and park owned rest houses. For more information on this location, please see the map below.

How to get there?By air or road, with the first using lake Manyara airstrip nearby, followed by prearranged vehicle for the rest of the way.

Alternative methods include driving to the location using a private or rental vehicle, with no preference as to the vehicle type; However, 4x4's are recommended for night game drives.
