A volcanic plug near the northeastern border of Hell's gate national park, with a height of approximately 25 meters.
It was named after German explorer — Gustav Fischer, who was sent to find a route from Mombasa to lake Victoria.
In Masai folklore, the tower is a Masai girl who turned to stone after looking back on her home, while on the way to her future husband — contrary to tradition.
Today, it is used as a rock climbing destination.

Location of Fischer's towerFischer's tower sits on the northeastern end of Hell's gate national park, within walking distance of Elsa gate.
How to get thereBy vehicle, hiking or biking — less than an hour's drive from Naivasha town, which also has an airstrip.
Naivasha is a few hours north west of Nairobi by bus or train, and less than an hour by air.
