Where two German
Schutztruppe were buried — two graves next to each other marked with a stone and concrete structure.
The two were stationed at an outpost nearby during the late 19th century and died one day apart.
On their graves are two signs written in German, roughly translating to;
Here lies the rider Ferdinand Zarp, died on 26.June 1895 there are many apartments in my father's house
and
Here lies the non commissioned officer Robert Kirchgatter died on 27.June 1895 be confident I have overcome the world
