How to get there? By air, train, bus or private vehicle. It is about a half day hike into the mountains from Mbatwa ranger post.

The nearest town of Iringa holds Nduli airport as well as a train station for the TAZARA railway that goes from Dar es Salaam to Kapiri Mposhi weekly. From there you could use a hired vehicle to get to the start of the hike.

The two stops for those getting here by bus are at Aljazeera restaurant or Mtandika village, though you still would need to hire transport from there on. Alternatively, you could use a private or rental vehicle, though you may need to pay extra park fees for them.
