Location of Bwatherongi campsiteBwatherongi campsite sits in the eastern part of Meru national park, next to the riverside forests of a small river.

There is an airstrip about 2km away, with Murera gate being 22 km north west here.

The whole area is also near the equator.

How to get thereBy vehicle or air.

You may need a vehicle to roam the rest of the park, with 4x4s being recommended during the rainy seasons.
