Location of Golo 2 campsiteGolo 2 campsite is near the Murera river, with the opposite side being Bisanadi national reserve.
This is on the eastern end of Meru national park, and about an hour's drive from the equator, which runs through the same park.
How to get thereBy vehicle.
The nearest airstrips are a bit further out — near the park HQ and
Bwatherongi campsite, and a vehicle may be required to get from there.
The nearest entry point is
Murera gate, which is about 350 km from Nairobi, using the highway through Embu, Meru and Maua.
