A large camping area inside
Etosha national park's
Halali camp, run by Namibia wildlife resorts.
Inside are several camping spots, each with it's own electricity outlet, lighting and fireplace. However, the kitchen, bathrooms and toilets are shared with a cold and hot water supply.
The same compound has hotel rooms, a restaurant, fuel station, swimming pool, a shop with basics and curios, and a
waterhole where one could view wildlife at all times of the day. All of which are enclosed inside a game proof fence.
You may need to book as beforehand, as it can be full during the high seasons
What to do thereCamping, braai and barbecues, game viewing at the waterhole nearby, campfires, picnics, lodging, dining and game drives
Best time to visitThe dry seasons of May to October each year, as water becomes scarce and more animals visit the waterhole nearby.
This is also the high season.

Etosha Salt Pan.
It also is inside Etosha national park, halfway between
Okaukuejo and
Namutoni camps.

airstrip nearby.
Otherwise, use a vehicle from one of the
park's gates, with a chance to see more wildlife along the way.
