A public campsite on the southern end of
lake Nakuru national park, next to one of the rivers that flow into the lake.
It is also next to
Makalia falls, giving campers a chance to explore the area, and a night near the constant gushing of the falls.
It's facilities are limited to toilets and bathrooms with running water.

Location of Makalia campsiteThe campsite is a short distance downstream from Makalia falls, on the southern end of lake Nakuru national park.
How to get there?By vehicle — a 30 km drive from the main gate, and a bit longer from
Lanet gate.
The drive from either gate takes you along the lake's shores.
You can get to Nakuru city by bus or vehicle. From here, a short drive should get you to the gates
