One of several public campsites inside
Tsavo east national park, an open field amidst the woodland with facilities such as modern toilets, bathrooms with cold showers and a cooking shed - all with a good supply of running water.
It is termed 'public' because no booking is required and can be used by more than one person or group at the same time.
What to do there?;Camping, campfires, short walking safaris, bird watching, game viewing and game drive in the nearby areas, with the possibility of seeing animals that wander into the camp.

Location of Ndololo campsiteNdololo public campsite is situated on the northern banks of Voi river and at the edge of
Kanderi swamp. It also is a few minutes drive east of
Voi gate.

How to get there?By air or road, with a railway line nearby in the town of Voi, though you may still need a vehicle to get around the park, whether private or rental.
There also are passenger buses that ply the Nairobi - Mombasa route, and an airstrip nearby at Voi gate.
