The less cleaner of two lakes that are located within the town of Singida. It is less preferred as a recreational hotspot, although it has a significant population of fish to keep the local fishermen busy.
Like its neighbour, its waters are slightly alkaline in nature, though the foam seen at its shores seem to suggest a higher concentration. It has a small extension on the other side of the road that only fills up during the rainy season.What to do there?
Not much, except interact with locals and fishermen. We aren’t exactly sure about other activities, due to the state of the water.

Lake kindai is located in the southern limits of the town of Singida, and about 3 kilometres south of its sibling - lake Singida. It is partly visible on the highway from Dodoma on your left before getting into town.

By passenger bus or private vehicle, with the latter coming from Nzega, Dodoma, or Babati and anywhere else within Tanzania. There is an airstrip nearby that serves regional flights.
