One of the two lakes that are located within the small town of Singida of northern Tanzania. It serves as a recreational hotspot with many of the city's people flocking to its beaches during weekends and public holidays.
The lake is teaming with life offering a place for the local fishermen to get their daily catch, with the only caveat being the slight alkalinity of the water.

Best time to visit?Any time of the year as it is within the city and the roads that lead up to it are all tarmac.

Location of Lake Singida
Lake Singida is located within the town of Singida of northern Tanzania, with several other lakes being located near it. For more information, please see the map below.
How to get there?From anywhere within Singida town, you could walk or use a motorcycle taxi to get there, with the latter being preferred due to the small size of the town. But From other places within Tanzania, the best method would be by road.
At the time of writing, there is an airstip nearby, though it is only used by small regional aircraft.
