Cabin accommodation in Aberdare national park, comprising of 2 separate stone-built cottages.

Each of these comes fully furnished with 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting and dining area, a veranda and a wood powered fireplace.

Two of the bedrooms in each house have a double bed and a single bed, with the remaining being a single bedroom.

All of these are situated near a river where fishing can be done.

This is a self catering accommodation, although and bedding, towels, kerosene lamps, hot water and a caretaker are provided.

What to do there?Take some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, without having to give up the comfort of your own home — an ideal base camp for game viewing, trekking and hiking during the rainy seasons.

Also bird watching, picnics, fishing and game viewing from the comfort of your lodge.

Location of Kiandongoro fishing lodgeKiandongoro fishing lodge is in the moorlands of Aberdare national park's southeastern end.

It is also next to a small river that feeds into the Gura river.

Most of the park's famous waterfalls, and Kiandongoro gate are nearby.

How to get thereBy vehicle, as the nearest airstrips are miles away.

4x4s are recommended during the rainy days.
