An open air museum on a 3 hectare field in Pretoria — showing the way of life of early European settlers in the country, most of whom were farmers.

It is based on one of their settlements in the area — a farm from the 19th century with its original structures, one of which is T-shaped clay and grass thatched farmhouse furnished with antique furniture.

Others include a wagon house with wagons, several animal enclosures with animals inside, a horse mill, antique coffee roaster, a food garden, an outdoor earthen oven, a coffee shop with freshly baked bread on offer, picnic site with braai facilities, a souvenir shop, a parking area and an area for functions.

The farm's story is usually told by guides dressed in authentic clothing from the time, reenacting some of the activities.

Every Saturday, there is a farmer's market as well as a festival on new year's day.
