One of several entrance gates to Tsavo east national park, that is located on its southwestern border. It has a small pond next to it that is frequented by some of the animals, and has facilities such as toilets.

What to do there?Anything to do with permits, park payments, information about the park, or assistance from park rangers - with KWS using a cashless payment system. Or visit one of the other attractions in the park, a list of which can be found on our attractions page.

Best time to visit?Any time of the year, though the rest of the park may be best visited during the dry seasons of July to February.

Location of Manyani gateManyani gate is on the southern border of Tsavo east national park, just a few minutes north of the town of Voi. It also is next to the Nairobi - Mombasa highway.

How to get there?By air, rail or road. The SGR railway line passes right next to the gate, though the nearest station is a few kilometres away in Voi. From there the nearest entrance point would be Voi gate.

There are several options for airstrips in the area such as the all weather Ikanga airstrip or the Manyani airstrip, though you would need to arrange for transportation from there on and inside the park. The same applies for passenger buses that ply the Nairobi - Mombasa route.

Other methods include a private or rental vehicle from one of the major cities or towns. For more information on the park fees and charges, please see the KWS website.
