One of several entrance gates to Tsavo east national park, that is located on its western border - within view of the town of Mtito Andei. It is less used when compares to others in the park and has facilities such as toilets.

Best time to visit?Any time of the year, though the dry season of July to February would make game drives more eventful as animals can be found near water sources.
Location of Mtito andei gateThe gate is located on the western border of Tsavo east national park, and on the outskirts of Mtito Andei. Just a few minutes away on the other side of the Mombasa - Nairobi highway, is another gate into Tsavo west national park.

How to get there?By air, train or road. Both the SGR train station and bus station are less than a 10 minute drive away, in the nearby town of Mtito Andei. Either way, you still would need a vehicle for the park, whether private, tours or rental.
