Location of Indala ranger postIndala ranger post is located inside lake Manyara national park, and within walking distance of lake Manyara. It also is about a half hour drive south of the main gate and at Mto wa Mbu, and on the northern banks of the Endala river.
The area is also at the base of the rift valley wall. For more information on this location, please see the map below.
How to get there?By driving from the one of the main park gates, which can be reached by air or road, with the first using lake Manyara airstrip nearby.
Getting here by road can be done using a private or rental vehicle, with no preference as to the vehicle type — though 4x4's are recommended for night game drives.
There are passenger buses that go through Mto wa Mbu from
Arusha or other major regions; However, you still may need a vehicle to get into the park itself.
For more information on park fees and tariffs, please see the
TANAPA website. Tariffs for a normal self game drive usually include conservation fees, vehicle fees and possibly camping or accommodation fees.
