A small Masai cultural village that is located a short distance north east of
Ngorongoro crater in northern Tanzania. It serves as a destination for cultural tourism, sporting several cultural boma's, shops and a variety of other spots that can be visited.

Location of Irkeepus villageIrkeepus village is located about a five minute drive from Ngorongoro crater's north eastern rim, with both
Olmoti crater,
mt. Lolmalasin and
mt. Losirua being visible from it as simple mountain ranges. It is also inside the
Ngorongoro conservation area and one of the places seen on the road when heading to Olmoti crater or

How to get thereBy vehicle, whether from Loduare gate or other areas inside the conservation area. This can be a tours and travel vehicle, a rental or a private car - with no preference for 4x4's.
