One of many waterfalls in aberdare national park, though with a smaller drop when compared to others such as Gura and Karuru falls.

There's a parking area near the road, from where a short hike is taken to the falls.

Location of Chania waterfallChania falls are situated in the southeastern moorlands of Aberdare national park, and in the early stages of river Chania.

How to get thereBy vehicle or hiking, with the latter requiring an armed KWS ranger's escort.

Some roads may become impassable during the rains, thus 4x4s are recommended.
