A museum at Durban's harbour showing its maritime history, with the main attraction being a few retired boats moored nearby that are open to the public.

One of these is raised on a platform, a steam tug boat named Ulundi — said to be the oldest intact tug boat in South Africa.

The rest include a steam tug boat named JR More, a navy minesweeper the SAS Durban and a small yacht named the NCS Challenger — once used for a trip around the world.

Inside the museum are a collection of maritime memorabilia.
