One of the campsites that are located on the Lumemo trail of
Udzungwa mountains national park. It is the second encountered from
Lumemo ranger post, with the Lumemo river passing near it.

Best time to visit?Any time of the year not in the rainy season of March to June.
Location of Simba (udzungwa) campsiteSimba campsite is located near the southern border of Udzungwa mountains national park, a small clearing amidst its rain forest and next to the Lumemo trail. It also is near the Lumemo river and next to one of its tributaries.

How to get there?Via a hike from
Lumemo ranger post - passing the first campsite, or via a long hike from Sonjo ranger post or park headquaters at Mangula in the east.
Both Lumemo and Sonjo ranger post can be reached by air, train, passenger bus or private vehicle.
