A group of four separate wooden chalets in Meru national park, each with one or two bedrooms.

The one bedroom chalets have two beds inside, with the two bedroom ones having a double bed per room.

Bed linen and mosquito nets are provided, and each house has its own W.C and shower.

Outside is a small balcony with a view of the river and an outdoor fireplace/cooking/washing area.

Accommodation is on a self catering basis, with guests having to bring their own crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment.

Location of Bwatherongi cottageBwatherongi cottages are near the riverside forests of a small river, on the eastern part of Meru national park.

They are also about 2km from an airstrip, and about 22 km south east of Murera gate.

They are also near Bwatherongi campsite, and the equator.

How to get thereBy vehicle or air.

You may need a vehicle to roam the park, with 4x4s being recommended during the rainy seasons.
