It is housed inside an Old Rheinish mission church that was built in 1895 — with a collection that includes some of the machinery, tools, household items, ox wagons, carts, transport methods, calculators, typewriters and weapons used in the Keetmanshoop since its foundation.
There also are exhibits on the area's indigenous people, animals, plant life, archaeology, founders of the church and the town's early settlers.
