National Museum of Cultural History's entrance in Pretoria 1
A museum about the cultural history of South Africa — also known as the African window, presumably for its showing of the very essence of African culture.

It is housed inside the old South African mint building, a large two-storey beige coloured complex, with a white upside down u-shaped porch that extends the length of the building as a corridor.

Inside are displays on the country's arts and crafts from as far back as the rock paintings and engravings from the indigenous people, to the modern day crafts, pottery and traditional garments.
