The second largest of three air force
museums in south africa, the others being at
Swartkop and
Port Elizabeth airport.
It is part of the Ysterplaat air force base, and is home to the last airworthy Avro-Shackleton, as well as other antique military aircraft, engines and memorabilia.
About once a month the Shackleton is ground run for the public and there is an air and classic cars show once a year.
